High Hopes Challenge - Fun Folds!

Howdy -
Time for the High Hopes Challenge and this week we are folded up! The challenge is to create a card with a different fold to if. Not the normal one side fold. I could not get my mojo moving for anything creative. So I went with little diagonal folds -

I have a request for easy to mail cards .. so flatter. So I tried to keep that in mind. I went with green card stock, a layer of white card stock with a scallop cut with my ancient old Fiskar scissors. A piece of Tim Holtz Christmas pattern paper, all sewn together. The Ho Ho Ho's are me... yes sad doodling huh? The great Sentiment "Here Comes Santa Claus!" is a High Hope sentiment. And then you can see just a peek of Santa on his way....

Then you open it up to find...

Santa is traveling "In Style!' LOL yes more sad doodling, but hey I was trying to be creative... LOL

Love this High Hopes image "Road Trippin' Santa" He really does travel in Style you know... :0)

Here are my copic colors used -

Now make sure to visit the High Hopes Challenge Blog and see all the really creative folds that the DT came up with...

Then join us for some fun and a chance to win some High Hopes for yourself!!

Round the farm today... working on an upcoming show we are doing that is a little bit different than our normal so we are re working our booth a bit. And then hopefully some coloring time... if I can get my desk cleaned off...worked on this project in a 7x7 spot I shoved clean... how does it all pile up so fast? LOL

Have a great one!

Great card, love your doodling. Santa's ride is a surprise when you open the card, very creative.

I can sure relate to working from a small space. Guess if UI just put things away each time! LOL Another great Christmas card.

Lovely card; know what you mean I am also working between the piles of stuff; maybe we have too much (LOL), but it's never enough when it comes to crafting stuff.
